Currently a desert dwelling witch in Southern Utah. I have felt a strong pull to creation my entire life. I spent most of my childhood in the wonders of nature or steadfast in my sketchbook. I always felt such compulsion to minute details around me. The veins in a leaf, the bugs under rocks, the scales of a fish, the soft ruffles of flower petals. It started with the simple beauty around me.

I had grown to enjoy school and learning, but never without my sketchbook in hand. I became fascinated in the solar system, ancient civilizations, art history, reading, and cultures outside of own. I was introduced with manga, then anime, which turned into another beautiful thing I enjoyed sketching. My interests grew into animation, video games, set design, concept art, and the incredible stories interwoven within it all. Seeing the beauty of humanity through so many different forms of storytelling, which bled into my own artistic venture. I had known, since a young age, that I wanted to be a part of this world. Being human and creating what that meant to me. I took every art class available to me. I borrowed books from the library, a youthful curiosity to grow and expand in every way I could.

Pottery and Ceramics came into my life my junior year of high school, and I was hooked. I took every pottery class until I graduated. I did not get to continue making pottery until 7 years later. I had moved to the desert, and suddenly a pottery studio became available to me. Since then, I have spent majority of my time in clay, bringing everything I had learned from drawing and painting into my renewed obsession.

My pottery is an extension of me. From my love of witchcraft, folklore, ancient civilizations, astrology, film, animation, anime, reading, nature, architecture and symbolism. I take everything that I find beautiful about the world around me, humanity, and magic of simple living, and my own imagination to make pieces that feel unique and special. I follow the earth and its seasons, the balance between dark and light, chaos and order, using the power of ritual and symbolism while using daily tools. I wish to create tools that serve as a reminder of all things beautiful, loving and cruel. That the beauty we see outside of us, is within. That we too, are part of nature.
